Birmingham - Manchester - Birmingham

Well I've been in Birmingham for over a month now, still no job, but hopefully something soon as I have been put forward for 4 positions in the last 2 days - but we will have to wait and see.

I took off to Manchester last weekend for the weekend which was good to get away but also ended up with one of the worse sleeps I;ve had in a long while in the Hatters hostel there. The beds weren't very comfortable and I could head everything that was happening outside of the building on the street below - which was just plain annoying.

Back in Manchester though and back to things going wrong in my flat. Got back from the weekend to find that my fridge had basically decided to give up on us. So yesterday at the landlords expense I was out searching for a new fridge to replace the old one. It arrives on Thursday - although I have to ring tonight after 5pm to find what 4 hour window it will be delivered in.

Fun times. Also went to see Max Payne - the movie - yesterday which was a decent movie with enough action in it.

Booked my bday flight to Stockholm for the 2nd weekend after my birthday - planning on going to Dublin for the weekend directly after my birthday with my house mate to do a bit of partying.

I think thats about it at the moment - but I really really need a job and as of next week will be aiming to get some retail or anything else I can get to get me over Christmas and get some cash coming in rather than always just going out.
